Daniel Tammet – Different Ways of Knowing

I can only imagine how trying it would be to describe his world to others with his synesthesia. I find it inspiring how Tammet was able to turn what would be a difficult condition in the eyes of most into a unique strength. Being able to match subjects and objects that most would otherwise never see the slightest of connections can no doubt change ones perception of the world considerably. This is especially heartening that he does all this despite his apprehension to social situations.

Len Lee - Rhythms

The film integrates sound with its visuals that move in sync with each other rhythmically. In addition, each instrument seems to be represented by different shapes. String instruments, for example, are visually represented as lines, while keyboards were shown as dots and brass instruments as rhombuses.
